About 1756-A13

The 1756-A13 is a ControlLogix chassis from AB. This chassis provides module housing, providing 13 module slots where ControlLogix controllers and I/O modules may be installed. Aside from providing the mounting slots, the chassis also host the electronic circuitry which make-up the backplane. The backplane distributes the current which is used by each of the module to energize individual circuitry to function properly.

The 1756-A13 supports horizontal mounting only. It requires minimum cabinet size of 60.9 x 76.2 x 20.3 cm (24 x 30 x 8 in.) for installation and weighs 1.90 kg (4.2 lb).
